1. How many guests are allowed onboard?

We strictly adhere to the regulations set forth by the USCG bareboat charter guidelines. The maximum capacity on any non-commercial vessel is 13 people. However, if you have a larger group, we are able to accommodate you by utilizing two vessels, allowing for a total of up to 26 guests.

2. What are the pick-up location options?

We offer multiple pick-up locations to choose from in South Florida. Additionally, we can coordinate pick-up from your private residence or vacation rental for your convenience.

3. Can we rent jet skis?

To enhance your charter experience, we can recommend 3rd party jet ski rental companies . This additional service is available for charters of 4 hours or more.

If you are interested in adding jet skis to your charter, we recommend the following providers:

We highly recommend contacting them at least 48 hours in advance to secure your reservation and ensure availability.

Please note that for all drivers born on or after January 1st, 1988, completion of the Florida Boating Safety Course is required prior to the jet ski rental. The course can be accessed at the following link:

Drivers born before 1988 and passengers are not required to take the course, but we encourage them to do so as well, to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

4. What is the minimum charter duration?

The minimum charter duration is 3 hours, but we highly recommend 4-6 hour charters for a more immersive experience and the opportunity to explore more places.

5. Can we bring our own food and drinks?

Yes, you are more than welcome to bring your own food and beverages, including alcohol. We will provide ice and water for all of your guests.

6. Are pets allowed onboard?

Yes, we are a pet-friendly charter company and would be delighted to have your furry friend join us on the boat.

7. Do we selected captain and crew ?

Yes, we will provide you with a list of certified and experienced captains to choose from, the captain and crew you selected will contact you to coordinate any final details of your yacht charter .

8. What happens in case of inclement weather?

Your safety and enjoyment is our number one priority

If we are under a weather advisory or conditions become unsafe , We offer the option to reschedule at no additional cost or provide a 100% refund.

9. What is the cancellation policy?

We understand that plans can change, and we are committed to being as accommodating as possible. However, please note that when you book a charter with us, we reserve that time exclusively for you.

If you need to cancel your charter, we kindly request at least 7 days' notice to provide a full refund. If you cancel your charter less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, a 30% cancellation fee will apply.

To avoid the cancellation fee, please provide us with at least 24 hours' notice. You can cancel or reschedule your appointment by emailing us at bookings@oceanviewyachtcharters.com, texting 786-790-9955, or calling our office at 786-790-9955.

In the event of unfavorable weather conditions or unsafe marine environments, such as a named storm, small craft advisory, or more than 80% chance of rain during your charter time, we will offer you the option to reschedule at no additional cost or provide a 100% refund. The safety of our guests and crew is our top priority, and we reserve the right to cancel a charter if we deem the conditions to be unsafe.

Please note that if you booked through a third-party website, we cannot guarantee the refund of any fees charged by that platform.

While we strive to maintain our boats in excellent condition, there may be instances where mechanical issues arise. If a boat is deemed unsafe for our guests, we will do our best to provide a replacement vessel for your charter day. However, we cannot guarantee a replacement, and if we are unable to coordinate one, we will provide a full refund with as much notice as possible.

We kindly request that if you anticipate being late for your charter's start time, please coordinate with your captain. Please note that we often have multiple charters scheduled in a day, and we may not be able to accommodate extending your charter due to your party's late arrival. Additionally, we ask that your entire party arrive at the dock together, as the entire group must be present to board the boat.
